These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReferralJobs, including our website, onboarding forms, dashboard, membership services, job-search support, communications, and related offerings.
By using ReferralJobs or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms.
1. About ReferralJobs
ReferralJobs provides job-search support services, which may include role research, application support, application tracking, job-search organization, warm lead identification, dashboard access, and related services.
ReferralJobs is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, placement agency, or legal advisor. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, compensation, employment outcomes, employer responses, or hiring decisions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use ReferralJobs.
By using the service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
3. Membership and Billing
ReferralJobs is offered as a paid membership unless otherwise stated.
By purchasing a membership, you authorize ReferralJobs and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the membership price shown at checkout and any applicable taxes or fees.
Your membership may renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership by following the cancellation process provided by ReferralJobs or by contacting:
Cancellation prevents future renewals. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation does not automatically refund amounts already paid.
If you request cancellation close to your renewal date, we will make reasonable efforts to process the request promptly, but you are responsible for submitting cancellation requests before your next billing date.
5. Refunds
ReferralJobs provides a service that involves human time, workflow setup, job-search review, application support, and operational resources.
Payments are generally non-refundable unless ReferralJobs states otherwise in writing or a refund is required by law.
ReferralJobs may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis, but submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Review your onboarding information, job preferences, resume, and related materials for accuracy
- Promptly notify us of changes to your job-search preferences, availability, eligibility, or target roles
- Not submit false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing information
- Not use ReferralJobs for fraudulent, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful purposes
- Maintain access to the email account and tools needed to use the service
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information used in your job search.
7. Job Applications and Third-Party Platforms
ReferralJobs may assist with identifying roles, preparing applications, organizing submissions, or supporting related job-search workflows.
You authorize ReferralJobs to use the information and materials you provide to support your job search according to your membership scope and instructions.
Job applications, employer websites, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and hiring platforms are operated by third parties. ReferralJobs does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their availability, decisions, policies, data practices, technical issues, or hiring outcomes.
8. No Employment Guarantee
ReferralJobs does not guarantee:
- Interviews
- Job offers
- Employer responses
- Recruiter responses
- Referral responses
- Specific application volume unless expressly stated in your membership scope
- Specific timelines
- Salary or compensation outcomes
- Continued access to any third-party job platform
Any examples, testimonials, case studies, or performance references are illustrative only and do not guarantee your outcome.
9. Dashboard and Account Access
ReferralJobs may provide access to a dashboard, tracker, onboarding portal, or other account tools.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information. You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue dashboard features at any time as we improve the service.
10. Communications
By using ReferralJobs, you agree to receive service-related communications by email or other channels, including onboarding requests, support messages, billing notices, application updates, and membership-related information.
You may opt out of marketing communications, but service-related communications are necessary to provide the membership.
11. Intellectual Property
The ReferralJobs website, dashboard, service materials, text, graphics, branding, workflows, processes, templates, and other content are owned by ReferralJobs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from ReferralJobs materials without our written permission.
You retain ownership of your resume, profile, portfolio, and other materials you provide to us. You grant ReferralJobs permission to use those materials as needed to provide the service.
12. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Attempt to access systems or accounts without authorization
- Use the service to submit false or misleading applications
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Scrape, copy, or misuse ReferralJobs content or systems
- Harass, abuse, or threaten ReferralJobs team members
- Use the service in violation of any applicable law
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.
13. Service Changes
ReferralJobs may update, modify, pause, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also update workflows, dashboard features, pricing, membership scope, application processes, or communication methods as the service evolves.
If a material change affects an active paid membership, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate that change.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
ReferralJobs is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any job-search outcome will occur.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReferralJobs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReferralJobs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, lost employment prospects, lost data, or business interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReferralJobs' total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ReferralJobs in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReferralJobs, its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or information you provide to us.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to ReferralJobs if you violate these Terms, fail to pay required fees, misuse the service, or engage in conduct that we believe creates risk for ReferralJobs, our team, our members, or third parties.
You may stop using the service at any time, subject to the cancellation and billing terms above.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of ReferralJobs after the updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
